Under New Ownership
Frog Hooks proudly offers a variety of boat docking systems for sale. Before you rush to purchase, however, it’s important to determine the right size mooring hooks for your specific boat.
The size of the Frog Hooks that you’ll need for your boat should be determined by the type of engine that you have, not the size of your boat. The most important factor when selecting mooring hooks is the amount of clearance needed between your transom and dock. You must allow for enough space for your engine or swim platform.
Some newer V-6 engines need more clearance than our 46” outboard models provide. They’ll require the use of one of our 52” boat docking systems for sale to allow the engine to tilt up and not touch the dock. For more information on boat mooring parts and accessories, please check out our Parts page.
* 32” Models – These boat docking systems for sale through Frog Hooks are sold for inboards and sterndrives on floating docks in tidal areas. They can also be used on stationary docks for outboard boats, as they do not need to tilt their engines up in fresh water. If your boat is on a stationary dock in a tidal area, use the 46” mooring hooks to allow for water fluctuation. These are ideal for pontoon boats as well.
* 46” Models – These boat docking systems for sale can be used almost anywhere, with the exception of stationary docks in tidal areas that are more than 2’ long.
* Galvanized steel models with vinyl non-skid coverings on the top are also available. They’re as strong as our fiberglass models but slightly heavier. They are available in blue and white only.
